I thought i'd update my one. Gosh it seems so long ago the old Arachnoid Activist board doesn't it? That's where me, Gemma and Dia met and then through that I met Helena and some others. I was reading through my old blog post and have never updated. I'd still put myself in the depressed category. Though, i've become really good at hiding it. What makes me depressed? I remember we had a big discussion on it on the old site, is it the cyst making us depressed because it is pressing on part of our brain that controls emotion or is it the cyst making us depressed because it is ruining our lives? Whatever the reason, the arachnoid cyst is making me depressed.  Do you ever get so depressed you tell yourself to stop dreaming for something better to come along because you know it will never happen? 

Thanks for letting me help you test run it! I cut and pasted my old blog onto this one, it was really simple to do, and I would encourage other users to do also if you have written a lot on the old board. I like having a network site just for us arachnoid cysties. Thank you for finally making one lol!!

Very nice of you to bring in this type of feature. I am pleased it will be kept from the Spammers also. Like many of you I have an arachnoid cyst, but I have Dandy-Walker Syndrome as well. Like you, I have had many complications and have become kind of depressed about it all lately. If it is alright to talk about depression here I would like that. Depression is related to our condition, but I think most people would be afraid to mention it in public.

Lately I feel I am too overwhelmed. The pain I am in causes me to sleep all day because of the pain killers. I no longer have a job and am being refused disability by Social Security. The whole thing is a huge huge mess.

Man I am so annoyed with travel agencies. Everything is so expensive now, and they always have to add a huge chunk of money. Don't get me wrong, I know you can book everything online now, but for what I need to book it only goes through an agency. Guess I won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
